I am all that destroys your children,
I steal all the innocence from their bodies.
I burn their toy Barbies and Matchbox cars,
I hand them butcher knives and guns to play with instead.

I am all that destroys your teenager at a party,
I am the friend who tells them drugs aren’t that bad.
I am the beer that tastes so good to your baby,
I am the car that they drive while they are drunk.

I am the women at a party who gets taken advantage of,
I am the drug slipped into your drink as you turned your head.
I am the dark alley you are raped in,
I am the fear and shame you have of going to the police.

I am the abuse of a relationship,
I am the mean words thrown at your wife.
I am the bruises on your wife’s body the next morning,
I am the gun she finally uses to protect herself with.

I am all the hate in your mind,
I am all your deepest darkest fears.
I am what you hate the most,
I am human...

I actually liked this piece. I think the content may be alittle too much for a teen forum but the piece bascially true.
