A bat born with no wings plummets to the ground
Screams, squeals, struggles, and shreiks go unfound
Closer and closer comes his painful, inevitable fate
Time disappears at a devastating rate
Giving up hope, his short life comes into focus
And as he stares off into his mind, he doesn't even notice
That the ground has already come

Time is up for this poor beautiful creature.
He was born proud, ready, and willing to live,
but in the end, was vexed by nature

Well, I'm not much of a bat lover but I just had to say "awwwwwwwwwww" at the end of this poem. Kinda sad... lol
