i wrote this for my mom on mothers day: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: As I look back at the footprints we’ve made in the sand, I can remember all the good times that we’ve had. Looking back to my pink princess dress, my favorite costume, I was smiling when you brought it out from your sewing room. I wore it all the time because you made it for me I danced in it and twirled in it, and you watched me, My sister was right beside me, in a matching one, And we danced and danced for you and sung. You always laughed and played along too, You love your family and we love you. As the waves wash over our feet we laugh and smile, And walk on reminiscing for a while, We look back again and see shovels and packets of seeds, And right beside you are your two little garden trainees. We liked to dig in the dirt, and throw out the rocks, We will always love the very last two parts, Planting the seeds, and waiting for them to grow, Just like your two daughters have done. I don’t know another a single person that thinks how you do, You can see everything and think everything through, And you come up with more than anyone could dream of, You’re so creative, and you make everything shine with a touch of love. Im so lucky and do you know why? Because when people ask whose mom that is, I can proudly say mine. ~L |

Aww, it's such a beautiful poem, with so many good emotions in it! No way am I going to critique your poem, it's to amazing for that, to heartfelt. I'm glad that at least someone out there can write something for their mom on mothers day, i myself can't, i kind of lock up when trying to write things for people i care about... You have such an amazing talent for words, don't you dare ever stop writing poetry, i might have to hit you with a wet noodle if you do!  lol... Great write on this one, I'm so happy that I got to see it. Thank you so much for sharing. @-->--- |
