The day that you died, a little bit of me went with you. I can never be the same, no matter what I do. You know why? Because I still love you. I still can't believe you're gone. I mourn you everyday. I may not believe in God, but I curse him because he took you away. |

hey, i'll admit, i was a little intimidated to respond to this one, but meh. it was one of those poems that can get away with being short, and you made your point well. as for the personal note, if it is a poem based in reality...well then i'm sorry for your loss (as cliche as that sounds), but truly, death sucks. keep posting -bergundy- "Be who you want and do what you will, in the end those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." -Dr Suess- (a brilliant man) |

i know exactly what you are going through when my uncle died who i was very close to i started to think about him everyday and wonder why he was taken but i always would then sit down and my desk turn on Billy Joel only the good die young and write poetry and realize that he is now gone and happy and i guess i should be happy for him because if i am sad thats just makes no sense he wouldnt want me to be so just think about this and realize what your lost one would want you to think if you need to talk im me or something greco4021 good write |
