True Friends You call me a punk, but i don't care You think it hurts me when you laugh and stare But in the end, you're the only one hurt How much pain do you think popularity is worth? Im out of your "clique" as you like to say But what did i do to make you feel this way? You're good to my face, but bad to my back You think your life's perfect but let me tell you what you lack You're without a true friend, who will stick by your side But with friends like mine i've got nothing to hide. You say you've got many, but is that really true? Tell me how many would help you through When you're stuck in a jam or just need to talk You'll Learn then your friendships are written in chalk They erase themsleves at any sight of rain They'll leave you faster than a speeding train. Mine are written in permanent pen All my friendships are a perfect ten. Sure, i'm not invited to every party that's thrown But,I've got something that you just don't own. I've got my true friends through thick and thin And i don't care if your "clique" lets me in. Popularity won't matter in five to ten years True friends are the only kind that will bring happy tears I'll give you some advice so listen close: True friends are the kind that matter the most. ~nora<3 your pulling the trigger, pulling the trigger all wrong |

yea i have agree with cr this is an excellent poem keep it up sat xx is good to face this things with a sense of poise and rationality |

OH Wow, I can relate to this poem so much. Simply because am a Muslim and i wear the scarf so people look at me weird at times for what i do and believe in,... Great poem. Keep it coming "How are they the VICTIMS if they are the OCCUPIERS?!" ~Paradise now |
