Can't Sleep By:kerry cookro To:John Miller who is up there in heaven... 3 'o' clock Why can't i sleep? I toss and turn I sing i read Why cant i stop worrying? Those sheep dont work And the house too quiet. I light my candles and silently sit. My feet are frozen My lips are dry I think of you And tears fall from my eyes The dark room holds my fears Like a mother holds her child. I crawl back in bed I am exausted But for some reason I cant sleep at all Because your gone... |

Aww, thanks Jessica, but I am a little annoying! Yes, welcome to pip again! I like this poem a lot and I must say that the way this poem started out I was expecting a real different ending! I enjoy the ending on this one more though. Just so you know, on your profile I never noticed how you do not encourage critiques, I apologize, cause I think on one of your other posts I did critique it a little bit. Good poem, I really hope to see more of your work. @-->--- |
