Beneath this hood I wear a shield.
To ensure that I would not be revealed.
Hidden secrets and concealed lies,
I cannot say when I see your eyes.

I know all the truths in the entire world,
For all to long in my mind they have swirled.
Poison deceit attacks like a praying mantis,
I do not want to sink like the fabled Atlantis.

To stay a float in the stormy seas,
I decided to give you the rarest of all my keys.
And now you have the power to do what is good,
And release me from my shield and hood.

It's a very nice write. I think in the last line you should change it to hood and sheild instead of sheild and hood. Just a suggestion.
