With in your eyes

My whole life I dreamed
of being someone else
Today I realized I
was dreaming of myself

I’m not a singer
I’m not a player
I’m a writer, an artist
Thinker and a dreamer
Always looking at life
And always asking why

I’m not a trouble maker
I’m not the person all wish to be
I’m shy and quiet
Just the way I like it
My friends look at me
always see the nice girl
someone you can talk to

so don’t come to me
asking me to change
for I like me just the way I am
some day I hope
you will feel the same way

We seek peace, knowing that peace is the climate of freedom.
