Standing In Silence...

A shiver,
Sent up my spine,
By a tiny word,
Goodbye.

A tear,
Falls down my cheek,
From a tiny word,
Goodbye.

A plea,
Never heard by the speaker,
Of a tiny word,
Goodbye.

So small – a word,
So huge – an impact.
I’m still in shock.

I soak up all the pain, and accept it in silence~DMX
