As the humid air Returns to the once dry, breathless Shivers I'm accustomed to, The fear wraps my insides, This goodbye Will be the very last We'll ever know, And as I cast my silhouette Upon the concrete, Words fail me, Only gasps My tightly sewn mouth, Yet again, I allowed my covered wounds To emerge, Enabling them to trust, The blame rests upon Me, For you, A being Who merely wipes away His foggy windows, Leaves the fault To no one, But me. |
