So, my "friend", you may think
that you have all the answers,
you may think that you have all the "power"
to play and toy with peoples' lives as you please,
well just let me inform you
of what your "power" will truly bring:
Your "power" as I call it
will be your undoing.
One day you will mess around
with the wrong girls man.
On that day you will learn
that all I will tell you is true.
For now, yes you may get away
with all these little games you play,
you will continue to manipulate and cheat.
You will think that've won.
But let me tell you one thing, dear "friend":
That "power" you hold so dear,
will turn its' back on you.
And then you will be where I am now.
Looking at a former "friend"
and wandering how it all could be.
So, you see your "power" is useless,
it will only ultimatly bring you pain.

"See my wrists;
I feel your pain."-Creed

Thanks. Lately I've been trying to put a voice to some of the things that people unfortunatly do have to go through. Just hopeing that I do them justice.

doing good by my book. It is a tough task to find not even necessarily the 'right' words, but to find the right way to put it. Keep up the good work though

Well done, if I do say so myself. Insightful, flowing, and an indepth analysis of this situation...that's what poetry is all about!

Unfortunately, there are people that have to deal with just this type of thing,
and you wrote the tale of it well.

Enjoyed your write.
