in the room, with those walls, those permanent shadows shining like hearts- yes, you live on. live on the folding chairs in which we became pure; alive; puddles of l o v e. (??) where we whispered our final secrets, gone and gone and finally you... vanished. vanished into another promise. morphed into another person's body. floating along the beloved highways. you don't know what i need in this time of... this is the last time. i laid upon that floor to say goodbye- the closure will never be (mine) to hold. god, believe in me. because i believed in nothing more than (fate). destiny would never knock upon my door, always wanting more from who we… once were. |

I haven't been here in the longest time and I looked through the list of usernames to see who I remembered, and you the first! This poem was awesome, great work and you people better leave more comments! ~Jess "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" -Moulin Rouge |
