Dustbowls Filled With Tears I feel tears in my nostrils, the pain of holding back all of the rain that should have fell in 1935. (FDR would have lost...) Thunder rolls from my throat as lightning strikes my heart. (...if my sobs echoed through time) The love that we all imagine and the fears we all hope for are careful. Never raising a voice above a whisper to make our insults less than screams. And now here comes the great floods of '94. |

it's just about how sometimes we imagine love and candy-coat our insults to those we do love. we also make up fears about relationships. we are so careful with our fake loves and fears, i have never had careless love or careless fear. that is what this is about. |

"Never raising a voice above a whisper to make our insults less than screams" perfect. i also like the historical element, even though it makes me feel like i need to go do research for it all to make sense. "and i'll sit and wonder of every love that could have been |
