i feel the sun on my face
and its warmth brings
new wounds to my frozen eyes,
but i celebrate
for finally reaching a place
where anyone else's
tears no longer trigger my own

and i listen to music that
crumbles my heart,
as if i can bear someone else's pain,
as if my own is not enough

it's our time after all
and the only moments
that become my reality
are the ones i spend
with you

maybe no one sees

this is good. Usually a thoughtful write is a really long one, but you say a lot in a few verses. nice job
