digging deep into the microphone, the air --being sucked away so quickly. lungs shutting off at the sight of their eyes. sing us a song, some smashed up lyrics, open yourself up. and i’m sick, i’m sick, i’m gone today. i’m fading away from these --what is he telling me? (intentions). dirty floor and those fluorescent lights. no sound as i am stripped to the core, having nothing to bear but ...a written out soul, with the words dripping and the voices tripping, so far out into the distance but yet so close to home in between the flesh of my ear drums. (breathe) but this is not who they want you to be. |
