The concrete screams again; how can it not with all of our soles slammed against its mouth? So we plug our ears with dynamite and light the fuses to drown out the sounds. So we blow out our skulls, we're out of our minds, to quiet the senses that tear at our being. But we still march in time to the beat of some drum and still the concrete screams. One pain for another. |
