it’s pouring all over our destiny, this staining of fears, this recognition of falling. love was a word, not a meaning. and the sight that we received from this burning light only led us to become blind. by death’s chimes, the poison will strike. because that picture deserves to be strewn across your carpet, and my smile deserves to be stomped upon. |

i kind of get this right now, seems like i might be going thru similar things but i'm honestly not sure and that is what is intriguing about your poetry. generally it's hard for me to interpret lol. i really liked the last line, and i'm glad you shared this. thanks bergundy At least we're still friends! Wow. Short, yet so incredibly powerful. Especially this line, "Love was a word, not a meaning." It's hard to pick something I like best about this because it was so good, but I definetly liked the end alot. Thanks for sharing, this is going in my library. If I could fall asleep tonight |
