far away from home.

oh, the summer, the summer,
the glorious and gut
wrenching summer.
it fills me up with fueled
up hope
onto flinging arms.
you're at arms distance carried
away by the
oncoming shivers of wind.
shove me aside,
grab my eyes in a sweet embrace
of this shallow moment.
in time, we are nothing but
dissolved salts.
lodged deep into each others
many hurts,
we're holding on to save
one more life.
one more time, where we can
at last be one
of the broken down shells,
the blue in your eyes,
the oncoming tide...
the oncoming tide.
you are at home and we are as
one upon the slivers
of sand.
i wish i could feel your hands.
anywhere,
upon your sheets, on the
dashboard driving...
lets make this as furious as
the water guns.
we were only seven but the fun
had just begun.
