oh, the summer, the summer, the glorious and gut wrenching summer. it fills me up with fueled up hope onto flinging arms. you're at arms distance carried away by the oncoming shivers of wind. shove me aside, grab my eyes in a sweet embrace of this shallow moment. in time, we are nothing but dissolved salts. lodged deep into each others many hurts, we're holding on to save one more life. one more time, where we can at last be one of the broken down shells, the blue in your eyes, the oncoming tide... the oncoming tide. you are at home and we are as one upon the slivers of sand. i wish i could feel your hands. anywhere, upon your sheets, on the dashboard driving... lets make this as furious as the water guns. we were only seven but the fun had just begun. |
