if the curtain isn't completely closed i'm often still afraid of the darkness on the other side. i'm old enough now to know that the darkness is nothing more than harmless midnight air and i'm also old enough now to appreciate the fact that i still enjoy being a kid. |

Wow. Excellent poem! I love this so much, and I can relate to it so well. You only get to be young once, I don't understand why so many people fake maturity in an attemp to rush to adulthood. Great art here, well spoken. Thanks for sharing. If I could fall asleep tonight |
