There has come a time when I must say goodbye, goodbye to a friend I've held so dear this will be the end of so many years, the tears have still yet to appear.... so while I sit here the times come back to mind, the night at the falls... I was so shy... my first time in the valley... I was so scared the nights in the woods... we'd just sit and stare funny stories we used to share... serious times when you did care... the all nighters and early days at work... the parties we'll never forget... these things we'll never share again... or how about when you were always there? all I had to do was pick up the phone.... come get me is all I'd have to say... crying because he hurt me you made me feel better... you'd stay with me till whenever so why do you claim you don't care? its so unfair one mistake has led to the end.... I still remember the kiss and when you said it would be okay I'll miss you more than you'd believe but this time I must really leave.... we should have never gone so far, so goodbye my friend.... I'll always remember....... |
