Why, I haven't lied at all..
Well, okay, maybe once...
About those rhinos at the mall.
But that was all, I'd swear it too..
There wasn't anything more
Well, except I fibbed about
The paint spill on my floor
Yeah, it wasn't the closet monster
It was only me.
But being "scared" of monsters
distracted my mommy
But, yeah, that's it, that's all
There's nothing more to tell
Well, except for the real source
of that really funky smell.
Other than those few
I have barely lied
Well...except the other day
When I 'faked' like I had cried
But it was only just because
I wanted Mom to change her mind
Oh yeah! and then that time
when i made the sitter play 'Hide & Find'
I let her sit there in the closet
while I ate chocolate chips
But it's because she couldn't eat them..
(they'd go right to her hips...)
I swear though, I'm innocent!
Who could be mad at ME?
Yeah, so I fibbed a little
It doesn't call for an apology!
I don't think I should apologize
for something I didn't do...
I've barely told a lie at all,
only one or two...
But then again, i guess you can
say sorry for what you don't do...
I didn't clean my room today
So I guess a 'sorry' will do.

Lol. I love your way of thinking. This is sooo cute! Its goin in my library. Looking back on it, I can just see myself being this exact same way when I was 7. =P
