Baby-sit Say you’ll Be right back Won’t take long You just need cigarettes No, I’ll stay home I know what’s coming It’ll be longer Before you walk in Stumbling, tripping Slurred speech, Nothing but drunk Only 3 hours late I’m tired of it I shouldn’t live Like this Neither should you Admit you’ve got A problem Then things will Get better You doing this Has caused me To stress Over nothing I have to worry About where you’re at Will you make it home What time will that be I’m the child You’re the parent Its not my job To baby-sit ---------------------- Yeah, I think my mom has an alcohol problem, but wont admit it. Im just tired of waiting for her to come home, and having to wonder where shes at or if shes ok. This is jsut my way of getting everything out in the open- even if I wont ever give this to her. i'm surprised that this hasn't recieved any replies. I know there must be many of us that have faced a similar situation, or have grown up in a household such as this. It's often hard to admit it or talk about it. So nice courage. You're right, it shouldn't be the child's job to be the parent. Hang in there, and keep up the writing |

Thanks for the reply! Lol, get used to the no replies thing, hardly anyone replies on a regular basis anymore. Welcome to PIP though (I think you're a new member... maybe?) Bailey Good judgment comes from experience, |
