Staring blankly at the chair Were you’d sit And laugh at my jokes Walking along the path We took every Sunday Alone…. Now I’m alone Running through the rain Crying a million tears for you I can not forget how it felt to be loved by you And it hurts Because i know I wont even cross your mind |

Oh, wow. I can relate to this sooo well. Especially that last part. Im sure alot of other people can relate to this as well. Short and bittersweet, I love it. Thanks for sharing. If I could fall asleep tonight you know I’d dream of you and wake up wondering why my heart is so cold ~WinterWren~ |

I think heartbreak is just something that's common across human existance. As is the fact that it makes great cannon fodder for us poets. I must have forty or so poems like this one, and it never get's easier. I'm sorry you're going through this. Just remember, you're not alone. -Rich "I am a part of the world that I hate/I wish the end would come faster, my world's a distaster," - Crossfade "Starless" |
