So much pain,
And doubt in myself,
All that I wanted were two words,

That is why,
I saw you last night,
And all that I got were two words,

I spent so long,
Feeling I was wronged,
But it all went away,
When I heard you softly say,

"I'm sorry..."

this is excellent! it really is amazing how much can be healed when those two words, are said, and meant.
