Never Be Afraid to Chase Your Dreams |

Is it you against the world, my dear, as you cry those lonely tears? Are you wishing on the stars tonight when clouds have veiled the sky? I hate to see your pretty face so moved by doubts and fears. I’m always here to hold you when you need your turn to cry. It’s okay to break down sometimes; It’s okay to let it out. Just dare to keep on living, Since I know without a doubt There’s no better way to use your wings than open up and soar. There’s no higher path to travel when the mountain’s in your way. There’s no braver way to battle when the world begins to roar. There’s no better chance to turn the night to day. I know sometimes the world around you seems so cold and dark, But my trust is in the power of your heart. And always in this life, though cold and cruel it often seems, Never be afraid to chase your dreams. You told me once it hurts for you to dream your dreams of love. It always brings misfortune on your friends and on your soul. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t want the life you’re dreaming of If it’s what you need, then that’s beyond what you control. It’s okay to want a shining knight Who can sweep you off your feet. I hope you find him, darling, Wherever he may be There’s no better way to fight the storm than dream of skies of blue. There’s no stronger life to lead than one that you can call your own. There’s nothing like the spotlight when you let it shine on you. And there’s not a place you have to be alone. I know sometimes the world around you seems so cold and dark, But my trust is in the power of your heart. And always in this life, though cold and cruel it often seems, Never be afraid to chase your dreams. Just hold out for the morning when the light pours down in streams. Darling, never be afraid to chase your dreams. |
