Excellence In Bourgeoise Sadness I've bent the rules and dipped them in the sewer, polluting a sacred word. The worth of all my words amounts to nearly a split penny. When fragments of a promise reach your ears, forget my golden tongue. Guilt forgoes the pain and makes digestional problems long. Regreat crawls into bed only after the fact and remains blind to all but one. I'll tear apart the mind's pleadings to move to some semblance of hope. But I can never move on without you; So if you feel like dyin' (like i do) join me at the river for a heavy swim. Piercing blue eyes, I'm piercing blue eyes. p.s. check out my music at www.purevolume.com/aprilsfalling |
