Winds shake the leaves As if they are angry today, Calmness settles in for an instance, But the upheaval resumes, Midnight appears earlier, Twelve hours to be exact, Sun takes a leave of absence And the melody of peace is gone, Only the strong shall stay fit, Justify their place once and for all, Young ones filled with fright, Inquiring about the rosy delight, Birds, and bees settle in, For the storm will come, And sweep away those who are out, Running about trying to find shelter, If the trees could speak, They would tell the tale of the ages, “Winds come and go” “I stood for years on end” Fear not for they try to scare you, But you choose to rejoice, For with the wind comes rain, Heaven shares its bounty, Needle drop fills the ground, The once barren earth, Now drowns in the shower, Soon it will give new birth, I wait on the sidelines, Recording the account, With the same story line, Seeing different tunes. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |
