A damaged heart brought on by loves impure truths. Why must you have a great effect on me? I cry to you as an infant child yearning for her mothers breast milk, Craving the warmth that you provide Above, the amateur angel arks her precious wings, Trying to give us peace and love, Yet love is blind and peace--peace is a fading memory as the world dying away just as the sun into the sea. Will I ever feel free again to muster my own thoughts? Or count the stars in one days demise? Or a chance to catch a falling star? There is no such thing as love or peace or peace or love If you have no memory. My heart is crying out to you, yet your as distant as the moon, controlling my life, my breath, my speech. When can I be my own person? When can I feel free? |
