inside my eyes, a pearly conscience of lies. you said that once our connection glues together our hearts, there will be no fall. but couldn't you see, the real me inside the perfection. like bubble wrap, the popping sound will echo in your ears forever. don't turn around, don't face your crowd. all you'll feel are these misconceptions, all you'll begin to see is your reflection in pieces. lies are what hurt us, love is what fades. remember to breathe after you exhale. |

Very good piece. Thought provoking, powerful. I especially love the last 2 stanzas. Good imagery here as well. Thanks for sharing. But Im comforted |

all you'll begin to see is your reflection in pieces. I feel like this was on the brink of sounding cliche except for the few parts that made it different. |
