revisit me when the space becomes my only prayer,
lay down your wants and needs. i need to become my
own self; her own stars mixed with her interpretations
of dancing in front of her mirror.

teach me one thing; to be free-spirited, and i will laugh
only for you. please don't break my heart because one
fall already lasted me a lifetime of silver coated tears
which could be considered pretty but are instead just
known as an accident.

i never meant to become this way; such a mess, so far
from where you want my eyes to be. but the miles only
hold my attention for so long, until your words become
faded as i drift away toward the light surrounding his
arms.

such a stupid mistake; a fallen tragedy in the depths of
love. but i should leave now as to not have disturbed your
mindless beliefs in who i should be.

because as i look beneath the depths of the reflection in
the mirror, i come to realize only one thing: that i am
stronger than you could ever be.

and it’s the only thing i need next to the closeness of
his words which i hold so closely to my heart strings. i
wonder if you ever found out that some things are worth
the wait.

remember to breathe after you exhale.

I love all your writing kelly. I would maybe change this part, only because when I read it outloud it sounded repeatitive:
the closeness of
his words which i hold so closely
I really liked the last line, even though it was just a simple statement.
