Let me know what you think! Come Back to Me Sometimes I wonder, Did you ever really care? Did you think about me, Wonder if I was there? Sometimes I worry, That I was the only one, That ever felt anything, But now we’re done. Sometimes I ache inside, Knowing you’re not the same, Every time one turns you down, You go to another like a game. What happened to the loving guy, I fell in love with before? Even afterwards you were my friend, Until you wanted more. You hurt me once, that was enough, I didn’t want to do that again, You said I hurt you, yet you moved on, The next relationship you began. From one girl to the next girl, It’s like you’re filling up the hole, The one that leaves you incomplete Deep into the depths of your soul. So now you’ve left me here, Lost and confused without you, You were my lover once, my friend twice, Strewn into a world all new. Come back to me, be my friend, Though I will leave you if you insist. I miss you, so please, please Come back to me, you are truly missed. Erin Love is giving him the ability to break your heart...but trusting him enough to know he won't. |

It reminds me of myself, actually. I almost feel like I've been that guy in the poem, except I'm not really sure that the girl really wants me back as a friend anymore. I think we were pretty close, and I ruined it by caring more about her than she wanted. So in a way maybe I've been on both sides of that. Anyway, it's pretty meaningful to me. |

I usually(well always) post in dark poetry, just cus thats how I write, but I went to the "Today's topics" thing to have a look around and I came to this one. I read the title and thought, another poem about being dumped (no offence) and thought hmm I'll have a look. Then I read it and wow I'm speechless. I really regret ever thinking it was "just another" poem. This one rocked so hard!!! I loved the feeling and I could really honestly feel the hurt, and I know how that feels, big time. Sometimes I worry, That I was the only one, That ever felt anything, But now we’re done. thats probably my favourite bit of the whole thing. they rhyming was perfect, never sounded forced. wow you should be really proud of this one dude, youve got a real talent. And I hope the pain goes away, just have faith it will eventually, even If you find it hard to believe. love and empathy sophie nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |
