I can't seem to figure out When i look into your eyes the love and happiness that was once there is gone. Your heart is now stone black as the night You seem out of touch There is something not right Why don't you open up to me Tell me what the problem is Please, its so hard to try and help When i can't figure out what's wrong Your heart is now stone black as the night You've seemed to lock it up and hold the key so tight What happened to us, The relationship we knew I've given you myself What more can i do I dont know why you won't open up but i'll give you time alone come back to me when you are ready You can always call this home. *Please Feel Free To Comment* |

I can totally relate to this poem, I was going out with this guy for a few months, and I thought he really liked me but after a few more days he acted so differently, like he doesnt hold my hand, he doesnt call my house, and ya  so great write keep on posting!!! always christine  |

Good job! this is really good, it flowed really well! Love is giving him the ability to break your heart...but trusting him enough to know he won't. |

Yeah, I can relate to this past and present. A great and extremely relevant piece from you, as always! I'm trying to prevent this from happening right now. I know she likes me, and I damn well know I've feelings for her. Yet I know she'd only break my heart. Or worse, I break hers. Neither of us is ready for the other. I hate putting people through the confusion and insecurity that you seem to be going through. I never want to be, "that guy." And that's why I'm loving your poetry. That, and it IS REALLY good!
