I say that i can take the pain
I say "Yeah, i'm totally fine"
The truth is the pain is killing me
I'm really dying inside.
I never thought i could let a man walk in my life
and take all i had away
Id never let it happen to me
'til you entered my life that day
I lost everything i knew
I gave it all up for you
You showed me what i thought was love
Told me what i "needed to hear"
How could i be so oblivious
behind your charm the lies were there.
It was your love that changed my life,
It was your love that made me feel right
It was your love that hurt me so
It is your love that keeps me close,
knowing i need to go...

Yup, I know how that feels...and it sucks.

Great write...even though its sad. It's good to just get all your feelings out.

Thanks for your response, i've got out of this relationship previous to this writing, It took some time for me to realize it, but what you said (Sea)was exactly right. Him hurting me wasn't love at all.
