freedom land fire red leaves with smoldering stems lie still against a burnt tree. s ground so moist with liquid so dark with from past armies. the earth remembers the wars, wars fought over religion and freedom. these overcast clouds show signs, that it will wash away the ruined kingdom. sons have been slayed by fathers, blood has been spilt by . what a tearing conflict must have raged inside while brothers slew each other in the cold mud. wil we forget the sacrifice that created a nation full of opportunity? we may faulter in our remembrace, but this earth will never forget the cost of liberty. now im alone, but not lonely like before |

I like this one because we have a third person earthly sort of view. Blood spilled by sons and fathers. While everyone else will forget, the earth will always remember. Bravo. NJS |
