Standing In Silence...

Cascading down my face, the fall of tears has yet to cease.
I look into your eyes, and see the look of utter frustration -
Of not being able to stop this devastatingly intense pain.
It brings me to my knees, and takes my breath away,
As it slowly wins this battle of destruction.

Never Falling…

Never Letting Go…

You abandon me again,
As another wave of terror,
Washes over your mind and spirit.
You try to hide,
But still it hunts you.
Even in the smallest corner of your soul,
It still finds you.

You find me,
Cloaked in sacrifice and sin,
Trembling and lying in vast scarlet pool of sorrow.
You look down upon me and say-
“Why do you still weep?”
My only reply-
“My heart shall not stop bleeding,
My tears shall not stop falling,
Until I have my love, you, back in my arms.”

Your soul starts to fade,
As you softly whisper back to me-
“I am truly sorry…I never meant to hurt you….”

I try to grasp your hand as you drift away,
But just slips through mine.
I hope your heard me when I screamed -

“I NEVER WANTED AN APOLOGY….I only wanted you…”

I can't believe this hasn't gotten replies yet!
Another great piece from you. The emotions were so raw and clear. And as always, it was very descriptive. I especially love the ending. And the line, "You look down upon me and say-
“Why do you still weep?”
Thanks for sharing, this is going in my library.
