Why Did You Go?

Why did you go,
When I needed you the most,
I wanted to confide,
Hopeful you would be the one to take my side.

Your life was important,
To many more than you think,
I just hope now,
Your soul is at peace.

You were my blood brother,
You were my friend,
Now I’m stuck here wondering,
Why did you go?

You have a great way of expressing yourself through words. That last line in the first stanza is a little lengthy and throws off the flow a little. All and all I really liked it. Very emotional. Just remember, friends are all around you. If ya need to talk feel free to IM. IM: stargazer800

I'm rather surprised a friend of mine hasn't replied to this before now, I think she would feel this poem a little deeper than most.  Reading this reminded me of her. As great a poem as it is, I'm surprised she missed it.  Well, I liked this poem, sad as it seems to me.
