Have you ever felt so beautiful
That the world was yours to hold?
Have you ever felt a fire inside
To fight the night’s dark cold?
Open your eyes and look outside,
There’s a world that joy makes whole.
Come with me and learn to love life;
See the world with a poet’s soul.

Time passes by without waiting;
The days can slip by like streams.
Learn to enjoy the bright sunlight
As well as the moon’s softer beams.
Open your heart; feel beautiful.
Find the power that you control.
Look in my heart and find its deep springs;
See the world with a poet’s soul.

Have no regrets for your choices--
You can’t go to where you have been.
We have to make use of each moment,
Since we’ll never have it again.
Bring out the beauty inside you;
Forget all the sorrows that roll.
Open your heart to a fountain of love;
See the world with a poet’s soul.

I absolutely LOVED that beginning stanza and I loved how you repoeated the title throughout the poem.
