I rest my fingers on my lips, and pick away at the dead skin... my lips are chapped, like its winter, but its not. not yet. you smile, like you know it, but you might not. not anymore. I awoke with a curious tingle in my stomach, and I figured the fresh air might cure it. Before it got thrown in the microwave and all, and proceeded to tint the outside of us all yellow. So I walked. The street lights were still on...I figured it was my mission to discover when they turned off. Somewhere close to seven. I figured if I walked at this time everyday I might figure something out. Some had already emmerged from their homes, and turned off their driveway lights. Some still shone, scattered here and there. It helped reassure me it was still fairly early. I walked past a red truck, that was running...I imagined I'd get in and drive off. The door was unlocked, I could see it. But I kept walking, and my music kept on going in my ears. And later I saw the man in the red truck driving to work, and I felt bad for wanting to steal his truck. Somewhere near by stood bright pink flowers on the side of the road, grazing the dirt. I wanted to pick one and dust it off. But they were too pink for their own good, really. And I figured they could take care of themselves. And they did a fine job. I would have appaulded them, had my hands not been stiff with cold. My hands are cold and dry, like its winter, but its not. not yet. I smiled in my sleep. I could feel it, because I didn't sleep very deeply. I want it to be over. I want to be gone. My t-shirt wasn't wrinkled, but it certainly looked slept. I want to leave all your smiling faces, mostly because I love you all so much. And I don't have much to say these days. maybe that will change, but I'm not in a hurry for it to. Because it smells like everyone decided to wash their clothes at the same time. And the scent of their fabric softeners is combining. And its so homey. But I'm still cold. |

This made me sad... It was very amazing, and beautiful. The ending was the best. I can relate. The feeling of being lonely, and well, yeah. It really hit home. Cant wait to hear more. Karissa I ask why, but in my mind, |
