The storm outside is rage'n But my thoughts are on you, Who are you really? As the rain beats down on the roof top, I close my eyes as i allow our presence to wash over me. I know you well as you know me, We can speak to each other without ever open'n our mouths Because we are connected like that, As thunder shakes the very foundation around me, Im yet conjuering up your very image. You seem to be tall, but not too tall, Hair is like that of soft reeds gently blowing by the water. Skin is smooth and dark like milky chocolate, teeth white like the clouds up in the sky, Hands soft but with evidence of the hard work he has done. Most importantly i see your eyes. Your eyes are the portals to your very soul, And in them I see the turmoil and confusion. You seem to be confused about your life and which way you should go. You're calling out to someone, and could that person be me? In you I see me, and lord knows I wish we could be......... As the storm continues I slowly come to realize i just had a revelation behind my closed eyes. I saw him and looked into his soul. Too bad he is'nt mine to have and hold. One day im going to find him and ease his pain And then maybe he too can take away my pain. |
