Its not my fantasy to live this out, although the biting is strong along my neck, and the night morphs in and out of comprehensions. I ask a god, that is willing, to answer. But I only hear my own thoughts on the brittle air, returning to me...in an echo so rich, it thickens my bones in an instant. I'm on time, must be a blue day in the formation of a train, out of this place, I prefer the rambling this compartment creates, planes hover to serious, too level in there buzzing. The sound of my own feet traveling, walks me closer to the green pools of insanity. So, I sit, immoblized by the thought, that this ride too, will have its stop. And I will be asked, politely at first, to get off. Then they will grab my arm, and that is when I will grab for the trigger, and linger on the last ramblings immerging from my mouth. I liked this one, mainly towards the ending, but you did lead up to it very nicely. So all in all, a good poem and a good title as well keep posting/replying I left my wallet in El Segundo... |
