here's a new song for my band, i've become more of a storyteller now.

A Bachelor’s Home Is No Place For A Man In Love

Shadows sleep in this room,
A tower in the town of Pile.
So I sit and dream my life away
And the shadows wait all the while.
Look at my hand in the streamed light,
Lying spots of white leprosy.
The world is caving in this place,
My world is this room, you see.

My mind plays tricks again
I love this game of reason,
Armed with a will to bend,
I’m the one always losin’.

Wind swept out my window,
By a tower in the town of Pile.
I think I heard a woman’s voice,
Maybe it was the groan of the isle.
Lonely walls stare back,
They won this contest so long before.
Now I long for you touch
And your smiling face at the door.

My mind plays tricks again
I love this game of reason,
Armed with a will to bend,
I’m the one always losin’.

Banished to the land of bachelors,
Blue collars, I astound.
Stranded at your hand of beauty,
Few dollars, never ‘round.
And I wish for your eyes,
The ones that glare,
They left in the night
To light up like a flare.

My mind plays tricks again
I miss your eyes of treason,
Armed with a will to bend,
I’m the one always losin’.
Losing isn’t the end,
But a road to pain’s easing
Torn hearts never quite mend,
But revive in time for your leaving.

the name of my band is April's Falling, but we lost a band member so we may change it to Other End of Nowhere. thanks for the comments!

Wow...I really like this poem...;

I think it's really cool that you're in a band...I wish I could be. (I play guitar).
