Just so clear.
I can feel you,
Your shirt and your strong arms,
Nearly.
Almost as if
You were here.
I can smell your scent,
To me it’s only yours,
Nearly.
It’s almost as if
You had suddenly
Drifted near.
I can hear your voice,
So soft and sweet,
Comforting me,
Nearly.
Almost as if
You had sensed
My sudden fear.
I can almost taste your kiss,
Making me melt,
Nearly.
It’s almost as if
You knew how
To make my hear sear.
All of these,
So close and so wanted,
Yet
So far.
