i can't stop hiding

This sea of souls
that flows thought my life
helps me create and deal
with all my strife

some make me good
some make me bad
others make me happy
while some make me sad

as each one
becomes a part of me
there hole life
i do begin to see

i try to help
to see how they feel
i open there eyes
so they can see what's real

how am i thanked
they get up and leave me
never remembering
the one who set them free

when you live you begin to die
when you die memories of you life lives in others
when memories of you begin to fade
you truly begin to die

I must say that I am surprised, this seemed to be something happy but the big let down came at the end. How this is so familiar to me as well, I feel for ya... it's hard having such a caring heart. This piece has something of a place in my heart so I guess I'm partial to it. Good job.
