I've known this girl for awhile now
17 years this June infact.
She's a friend
A foe
Well, A little of both.

She knows what's best for me
So she tells me what to do,
I usually listen
But Other times I say f' you

She's always giving me "the stare"
...The worldest biggest critic
It's for my own good tho
Because deep down I know she really cares

She makes me think
She makes me wonder

She says she loves me
She says I'm ugly

She's my heart
...My soul
...My everyhing.

She has to be,
becuase this girl lives inside of me.

It actually isn't about lovers. It's a poem about myself, the other me.

Interesting. I can see a lot of myself in this particular poem.
I like your writing style too, it's very crafted. Simple though.
