From time to time, I think of you. I know you want to talk, But I can’t let that happen, ‘Cuz if I do, I know, It’ll all come back to me, Once again. All the emotions, All the scars, All the fights, All the tears, Memories so fresh, I can hardly bare to think about them. You ask me – “Where has your heart gone?” I’ll tell you now. You. You destroyed it. You killed it by all your Hurtful words and all those Hateful arguments. It’s gone from you forevermore. I’m done now. No longer will I write About you. I remember hearing this from so many people in conversation that it makes you sick. Although the way you write it out makes it seem fresh and I can feel the anger rising in the room. As always, most excellent. NJS |
