I've been played once
I've been played twice
Now let me speak up and
Spread my voice
I loved you then
I love you now
Why don't you understand
I'll never know how
You loved me then
But hate me now
What made you change
How you treat me now
I loved you then

I'll never know how
You said that you'd love me forever and a day
Then why does my heart have to pay
You hit me once and promised to stop
Then why do I have to still hide the skin on top
I loved you then

The restraining orders didn't hold you back
It just brought on a more brutal attack
My heart is breaking more everyday
But don'e worry I'll make you pay

But what does that mean
Then why are you ashamed
To let me be seen

Wow, i hope this isnt from a personal experience. If so, i am sorry. This was an amazing poem. I loved it, i could see your pain in every word.

pain radiates from every line, and you can just feel the words as you read...wonderful job

although this is really sad, it was amazing, as above i sincerely hope this wasnt a personal experience, if so then my heart goes out to you.
i know how much you are hurting because ive been through the same my self...
