Something glints in your eye (Is it a piece of glass?) And I love those brown lakes. (I could drown in them forever) And a shiver of goodnight (Spoken only from sunken ships) Quivers on your lips, (What a wishful thought) So i will settle your shaking. (My lips steady yours) As your hand reaches for mine (Soft, smooth, and so sneaky) I let a smile spill over my face. (Catch the overflow in your hands) Kiss me one last time before I go (The last goodnight will stop short of completion) |
