I'm wondering how many of you would agree with the sentiments in this poem. So let me know what you think.

They say that if you love someone,
She’s always on your mind,
And everywhere you travel to,
You’re hoping her to find.
They say you think you see her
In the middle of a crowd
Or think you hear her soft voice talking
When everything is loud--

But there’s no mistaking the sweet sound
Of her voice calling me.
And I’ve never noticed any girl
As beautiful as she.
Though I always wait until I see her
Each time we’re apart,
There’s no way that I’ll confuse her--
She’s the monarch of my heart.

Each pretty girl that passes me
I can’t help but compare,
Bu I still don’t find another
Who can make me stop and stare.
There’s no one else that I can see
With her same style and grace--
No one else who lights me up
Like her bright, handsome face.

There’s no mistaking her sweet smile
That never lets me down.
There’s no one else so brilliant
Like a diamond in a crown.
And though I wait to see her
Every time that we’re apart,
I know I can’t confuse her--
She’s the monarch of my heart.

yes, I know exactly what that feels like, I myself am going through a bit of a rocky break up right now, but when my boyfriend and I were together this is exactly how I always felt, I couldn't have said it better. Nicely done.

I have to say, this poem has a way of brining back unwanted memories. I thought I was over the events of the past few months - over her -, but I guess I'm not. I can honestly say I relate real well to these sentiments. As my alias implies, romance has always been my thing, no matter how I may fail in the end. Thanks for reminding me what makes it all worth it. Why I go through this time after time, even as it chips away at my soul; because when it's good, it's really good. Peace.

This poem expresses exactly how I feel about someone in my life. It was absolutely touching and very sweet. Great write, Strider.

I have felt this way about a girl. I currently do, actually.

I thought you wrote this well.
One thing you might want to imrpove on was the flow of the poem. Some verses were a bit longer than others and it cut up my flow when i was reading. other than that- i feel you brother.
