Our Heros Only the windmill sees How vain the weather is, But the windmill seeks lonliness, What is vanity to a windmill? It only stirs when the wind Whispers fairyland secrets, But the windmill seeks lonliness, What is friendship to a windmill? And when starry nights appear To entertain the lonely windmill, It shies away from the glow Turning its favce to the east. Those guardians of the air And predictors of the westernly wind Rust along with the world And only stop to fall apart. |

well the windmill... could represent a person..who has lost everything, lost something it loves and without that thing the windmill finds no reason for happiness because the thing was the defintion for happiness Just My thoughts.. Sorry I like to pick apart poems in my mind. You better count your lucky stars that everything I wish for..doesnt come true |

it actually is talking about our heros, true heros. the ones who do something extraordinary and then shy away from praise. many of them end up falling apart though, their lives crumble. |
