Your Candle in the Night |

When it’s dark in your world, And you lose all your strength, When it’s cold in your life, And you can’t go the length, Hold on to your faith, Don’t you ever let go. My heart walks with yours; Be healed in my glow. When your candle flickers dimly, When the flame threatens to die, Take heart and know I’ll be right there To block the winds that travel by. If you ever lose your way, dear one, And find yourself without your sight, Take courage, I’m your candle in the night. Sometimes I know it’s hard to see The paths that you must take. Be strong and overcome your fears; I won’t allow your heart to break. If you find yourself all alone and tired Losing track of all your ways, Make your way back to my beacon; Let me guide you with my rays. When your lamplight flickers dimly, When your fire begins to die, Don’t worry, I will be right there To cast the light into your eye. If you ever end up lonely, friend, With no strength you’ve left to fight, Take courage, I’m your candle in the night. |

in many peoms that i have read the rhyme pattern was forced..but in this one its different..i really do like it..keep up the great job =] //..Two souls with but a single thought, two hearts that beat as one..\\ |

this poem reminded me of how Jesus is there for us as our guiding light when we need him most...those darktimes we cant excape.lovely poem! Jesus died that you might live...accept that and u shall be saved. |
